INTERIOR DESIGN SERVICES

At the beginning of every project, I take the time to familiarise myself with your space and gain a deeper understanding of what matters most to you. Through discussion and the use of any aspirational images you provide, I will gain valuable insights into your style, preferences, and budget, which will help shape the design brief. During the briefing stage, I will carefully learn how you intend to use your space. By conducting a site survey, taking measurements and photographs, I ensure I have a comprehensive picture of your project.  After this thorough briefing process, I will provide a proposal summarising the project as I understand it, as well as my design fee, agreement and the schedule of works. This ensures we are aligned with your vision before moving forward.

During the conceptual design phase, I will explore a range of ideas to create the optimal layout for your space. I will then develop initial concept designs for each room, and carefully curated concept imagery to illustrate the a general idea of the proposed design direction, mood and colour scheme. ​I will begin with a comprehensive site survey to produce detailed plans, ensuring accuracy.  This is a collaborative stage, and we welcome your feedback to ensure that the design truly reflects your vision and requirements.

Following approval of the concept design, we move into the design development stage, where we refine and finalise all aspects of the project. During this phase, I will produce 2D floor plans and elevations—so you can clearly visualise how your space will come together. This will give you a sense of scale, proportion, and style. I will produce detailed mood boards and sample boards to showcase finishes, textures, and materials that will shape the overall atmosphere.   Optional services for lighting design and bespoke joinery designs are available. This stage includes the confirmation of all finishes—such as flooring, cabinetry, window treatments, fittings, fixtures, and lighting. I will also present the FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) costings in an itemised shopping list,  ensuring everything is in line with the agreed budget. If you have existing pieces, we will incorporate these into the designs to ensure harmony with the overall scheme.  ​

​Once your design is approved, I will provide you with everything you need to bring your project to life with your chosen contractors. Your comprehensive package will include detailed specification drawings, and a full list of materials, finishes, and furnishings, ensuring that all design elements are clearly communicated, giving you and your contractors clear direction for executing the project. ​ ​ ​ ​
