Frequently Asked Interior Design Questions

Which areas of Kent do you cover?

I provide interior design services across Kent, including Langley, Maidstone, Canterbury, West Malling, Rochester, Cranbrook, Ashford, Goudhurst, Horsmonden, Matfield, Tenterden and the surrounding areas. My goal is to offer accessible, professional interior design to a wide range of clients throughout Kent.

How do you incorporate Kent's design trends into your projects?

Although I do not tend to incorporate many trends in my designs, I do stay updated on them. My work is inspired by the natural beauty of Kent's landscapes, from the vibrant charm of Folkestone's coast to the timeless elegance of Chilham village. Kent's rich history and beauty influences my designs.

What should I bring to my initial consultation?

You can prepare for your initial design consultation by compiling a list of questions and gathering inspirational images from Pinterest. Use Pinterest to start pinning images to a board you can share with me.

Can I see examples of your work with clients near me?

Absolutely! I have completed numerous projects. You can take a look at my portfolio to view a selection of my local interior design projects in Kent.

When should I start looking for an interior designer?

It’s a good idea to talk to a designer early on as it really is never too soon. If you are looking at a renovation project you need to bring your designer on board at the very beginning.

What if I don't like the design?

If I present your design and you are unhappy, I can make one iterations as part of your package. If multiple amendments are required this will be charged at an hourly rate or a further fixed price can be arranged. I think this would be unlikely as I take a full and comprehensive design brief at the beginning of the project.

How long does the design process take?

The length of the process is dependant on the scope of work needed. For a rough guide, my full room design package can take around four weeks per room.
